Houston Arts Alliance is a Houston-based arts and culture nonprofit that works with the City of Houston to advance equitable arts grantmaking and civic art investments. The Director of Grants oversees the distribution of approximately $15 million in public arts funding each year and leads the systems and team responsible for ensuring those funds reach Houston’s diverse cultural community fairly and transparently. Reporting to the CEO, the Director will manage a team, solve complex problems, strengthen grantmaking systems, and lead efforts that balance community needs with strong operational practices.
