The Senior Director of Programs at the  Melville Charitable Trust will play a critical leadership role in advancing the Trust’s efforts to end homelessness and promote housing justice. Reporting to the Executive Vice President, the Senior Director will shape and guide key initiatives, manage a growing portfolio of housing justice grants, and lead the evaluation of the Trust’s investments while fostering strategic partnerships across the field. In this role, they will develop innovative models to strengthen housing stability and address systemic racial inequities. They will identify emerging opportunities, drive collaboration, and implement strategies to increase the protection, preservation, and production of affordable housing for those most disproportionately impacted by homelessness and housing instability. Their strategic work will focus on tackling the root causes of homelessness to enhance the Trust’s reach and effectiveness in creating lasting, equitable change.

The ideal candidate will be a thought leader with deep expertise in housing justice, a strong network in the housing field, and a commitment to ensuring historically marginalized communities have access to safe, stable, and affordable housing.

The Partnership for Equitable and Resilient Communities (PERC) is seeking an Executive Director (ED) to lead the organization’s mission of advancing racial equity in urban development. The ED will work closely with key cities like Cleveland, OH; Durham, NC; Saint Paul, MN; and Selma, AL, guiding initiatives that address historical disparities and transform public funding practices. This fully remote role requires 30-40% travel to partner sites and Washington, D.C.  

Popular Democracy is seeking a Chief Development Officer (CDO) to lead fundraising efforts for CPD, CPDA, and Popular Democracy PAC (CPD/A). The CDO will build relationships with foundations, major donors, and corporate partners, ensuring sustainable revenue growth. This role will strengthen fundraising systems, oversee a team of 10, and work closely with senior leadership to align fund development with organizational goals. The CDO reports to the COO and supervises the Directors of Institutional Giving and Donor Organizing. Travel may be required 1-2 times per quarter. Approx. 15 years of experience preferred.
