“Teamwork makes the dream work. And my team rocks.” Fitting words for Robin - master progressive nonprofit strategist and fundraiser, lover of Thai, Sushi, and Chinese food, and reluctant yet spectacular mom and wife. She is consistently calm, cool, and collected - critical leadership strengths in this day and age. Another is being there for you when you need her- as long as you text before you call. In addition to fundraising on staff for nonprofits since 1998, she has held leadership level positions at established non-profits since 2004. Robin is an amateur designer, obsessive organizer, and fashion lover. You can also find her dancing to 1980s R&B, Classic Rock, and Hip Hop. Fave artists include Sade, Minnie Ripperton, and The Police. If you meet her for a drink, order a Manhattan up with rye and Robin will be happy when she arrives. Speaking of Manhattan, she lived in NYC for years and loved it. Of all her many accomplishments, including an architecture degree from UVA, she’s most proud of her children and all-woman owned business. On vacay, you’ll find her laying on the beach- preferably the vibrant beaches of Brazil or where the waves of the Atlantic and Pacific meet in Costa Rica.
When it comes right down to it, Adrienne "Stays Frosty". That's because she has chops - writing, fundraising, financial, public speaking, history, and tech chops to be precise. She gleaned these skills from fundraising in-house for civic engagement and environmental nonprofits since 2005. Prior, she earned her masters degree in American History, with a focus on Women's and Gender Studies, after an English undergrad at George Mason University. D.C. is home but Adrienne has visited 23 countries, 38 states, and lived in NYC after college. Authentic, direct, and brave - Adrienne is a lover of film, pop culture, and intersectional feminism. She has dressed up more than once as Rosie the Riveter for Halloween. Punk, Ska, Funk, and Reggae are favorites and Prince is BAE. If you’re meeting her for cocktails, be sure to tell her your fave, because she’ll likely get there early and order it with her glass of Sancerre. Medium rare steak with herb butter and asparagus is an ideal meal, followed by coffee with cream. Adrienne loves to travel, especially if SCUBA is part of the plan - certified since 1997 she has dived all over the globe. Her ideal vacation involves the beach and books with her husband and daughter.
"If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them, maybe you can hire...the A-Team."
